HDR Compare is a collaborative benchmarking platform for HDR brachytherapy source calibration and measurement data. The platform is intended for use by medical physicists and radiation oncology departments.

HDR Compare may collect:

• Hospital or organisation affiliation
• HDR source measurement data
• Source supplier and model information
• Well chamber information
• Well chamber calibration information
• Comments voluntarily entered by users

Patient Information

HDR Compare is not intended to collect patient-identifiable information. Users must not submit patient names, dates of birth, medical record numbers, treatment details, or other identifying clinical information.

Use of Information

Submitted information is used to provide benchmarking, trend analysis, quality assurance support, and collaborative research relating to HDR brachytherapy source calibration and measurement practices.

Data Sharing

Individual hospital identities are not displayed to other participating users. Community benchmarking results are presented in aggregated or anonymised form.

Security

HDR Compare uses authenticated access controls and encrypted HTTPS connections. Reasonable efforts are made to protect submitted data from unauthorised access.
