1. Information and research purposes only

HDR Compare is provided for informational, educational, quality improvement, community comparison, and research purposes only.

The information, measurements, calculations, statistics, graphs, trends, comparisons, and other material displayed on this website are not intended to constitute medical advice, clinical advice, dosimetric advice, calibration certification, or professional advice of any kind.

2. Not for clinical decision-making

Information obtained from HDR Compare must not be used as the sole basis for any clinical, treatment, calibration, commissioning, quality assurance, dosimetric, regulatory, or equipment-related decision.

Users remain responsible for independently verifying all measurements, calculations, source data, calibration information, and other results before they are used in clinical practice.

Users must continue to follow applicable legislation, regulations, professional standards, local procedures, manufacturer instructions, calibration laboratory advice, and recognised quality assurance requirements.

3. Accuracy and completeness

Data displayed by HDR Compare may be submitted by participating users and institutions. Although reasonable efforts may be made to support data quality, HDR Compare does not independently verify every submitted measurement or guarantee that any information is accurate, complete, current, consistent, or free from error.

Submitted data may contain mistakes, omissions, transcription errors, incorrect units, incomplete records, inconsistent terminology, or other limitations.

4. Limitations of Community Comparison Data

Community comparison statistics are descriptive summaries derived from voluntarily submitted measurements. They do not represent reference values, accepted tolerances, calibration standards, or recommended clinical limits. Community comparison results may be affected by the number and distribution of participating institutions, incomplete data, differences in equipment and technique, calibration laboratory traceability, source model, measurement method, data-entry practices, statistical methods, and other factors.

Apparent trends, outliers, differences, warning signals, or areas of agreement should be interpreted using appropriate professional judgement and independently investigated before any action is taken.

5. No warranty

HDR Compare is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, no express or implied warranty is given regarding the availability, reliability, accuracy, completeness, fitness for purpose, suitability, security, or performance of the website or its content.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators, contributors, collaborators, hosting providers, and associated organisations of HDR Compare accept no liability for any loss, damage, injury, treatment error, equipment-related consequence, regulatory consequence, interruption, or other outcome arising directly or indirectly from:

  • use of, or reliance upon, information on this website;

8. Evolving platform

HDR Compare is an evolving platform. Its features, calculations, statistical methods, definitions, data fields, graphs, and displayed results may be changed, corrected, expanded, or withdrawn over time.

Previous results may therefore differ from results generated after later updates.
